Middle Tennessee Native Connor Ball graduated from Mississippi State University with a BLA with an emphasis in gold course design in 2003. All landscape architects enter the field for different reasons and have their own experiences and specialties. Connor entered the field as a golf course architect and planner in 2003. He has had an integral role in a wide range of projects from golf courses and resorts planning, neighborhood master planning, and commercial projects throughout the Southeast. That experience gave him an understanding of the "big picture" and also how "the smallest details can change the overall user experience of the space." Over the years his focus has switched to the multi-family and single family residential, commercial, and the healthcare market where he helps clients extract their ideas onto paper so that they obtain exactly what they have envisioned for their space. He takes pride in knowing about the plants in our climate zone and how each one, in their own way, can better the design and the environment through color, texture, and movement.
In his free time Connor enjoys watching his kids play sports, spending time with his wife Lindsey, fishing, and cheering on Manchester City.
Debbie is originally from a small town in the great "mitten state" of Michigan. She received her associates degree in accounting and bachelors degree in business administration from Baker College in Michigan. She has a heart for investing in her local community, cultivating deep relationships, and just being around people. Debbie and her husband, David have lived in Nashville since 2004 and have raised two daughters.
In her free time Debbie enjoys casual hiking and adventures outdoors, frisbee golf, calligraphy, monogramming, and hanging out with friends and family.

Nashville native Brad Hughes received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Plant Science and Landscape Systems with a Concentration in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design in 2003 from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
After college he began his design career as a landscape designer/landscape maintenance manager for a local landscape firm with heavy focus on seasonal color displays at high end residential and commercial properties. His current designs utilize that experience to place special focus on a client’s realistic landscape maintenance goals to create spaces that won’t be a burden on the owner after installation. He enjoys developing and collaborating in the office on many different types of projects from small scale gardens to large scale commercial site plans. Brad has a special interest in utilizing 3D software to help clients visualize spaces before installation begins. In a full circle moment, having been an intern at Cheekwood during college, he helped with the recent design renovations and planning of the Blevins Japanese Garden at Cheekwood.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and trying to keep up with his dog Luna "The Office Dog"
Nashville native Phillipe Chadwick earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University before working for the City of Franklin planning department. In 2009, he joined Cheekwood as a horticulturist where he expanded his creative talents and vision by transforming the gardens into lush scenes of texture and color. While at Cheekwood he expanded his vast knowledge of plants and native ecosystems for three years. Phillipe worked for himself for almost ten years as a private designer and quickly became a go-to for brides, corporations, and party planners as a floral designer. His passion has always been flowers and plants and he designed, installed, and maintained numerous high-end gardens throughout Nashville.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, collecting rare and unusual plants, and maintaining a large reef aquarium. He is a current host on NPT’s Volunteer Gardener and regularly participated in the Antiques & Garden Show, and multitude of major local events and installations around Nashville. Phillipe’s deep knowledge of Nashville’s natural landscape and his passion for horticulture and art collide to show off his unexpected and elegant design style.
